Challenge:
Sinking Ship Entertainment required compelling key art and branding materials to pitch their shows effectively to networks. Each project needed a unique visual identity that captured the essence of the story, resonated with target audiences, and aligned with the show's themes. For existing shows, the challenge also involved refreshing marketing assets to stay current and engaging.
Solution:
I developed key artwork for various shows, including Beyond Black Beauty, Dino Dana, and Limbo, each tailored to reflect the heart of its narrative. For Beyond Black Beauty, the visuals focused on the duality of elite equestrian life and rustic ranch living, emphasizing personal growth and resilience. Dino Dana’s artwork leveraged bright, adventurous imagery to capture the excitement of a young girl's dinosaur-filled imagination. For the upcoming YA series Limbo, I crafted moody and ethereal designs to illustrate themes of love transcending life and death. By establishing an overall branding and marketing theme for each show, I ensured the materials aligned with Sinking Ship’s high standards and storytelling goals.
Result:
The key artwork and branding materials successfully conveyed the unique appeal of each show, enhancing their pitch decks and boosting network interest. The designs not only helped establish a consistent visual language but also played a critical role in showcasing the creative vision behind each project, positioning Sinking Ship Entertainment as a leader in innovative children's and YA programming.
