Challenge:
First Philippine Holdings (FPH) needed an annual report that effectively conveyed the synergy of its diverse portfolio of companies, including those in energy, real estate, and broadcasting. The challenge was to visually represent how these varied industries work in harmony under the guidance of FPH, which serves as the "conductor" of this corporate orchestra. The report needed to communicate the theme of collaboration and vision execution, all while maintaining a cohesive, polished design that aligned with FPH’s corporate identity.
Solution:
I art directed the annual report with the overarching theme of an orchestra, where each company within the FPH portfolio was depicted as a unique section, contributing to the symphony of the organization’s success. The central visual concept featured an orchestra conductor, symbolizing FPH’s role in guiding and harmonizing its various companies. I used rich, dynamic imagery to portray the different industries, with strategic use of color to represent the various sectors. Clean typography and modern layouts emphasized the theme of collaboration and vision execution. Infographics and data visualizations were designed to illustrate how each business unit contributes to the larger goals of the company.
Result:
The annual report successfully conveyed FPH’s theme of synergy and collaboration, making it clear how the diverse sectors in the portfolio work together under the leadership of FPH.
