Challenge:
While working for a social media company catering to small businesses, I noticed that many client-provided product photos lacked the quality needed to stand out. With only a 6' x 6' workspace, the challenge was to create professional, big-budget-quality product images on a limited scale without a traditional studio setup.
Solution:
I devised creative solutions to elevate the photography within the constraints of my workspace. This included crafting custom textured backdrops to simulate depth and dimension, as well as utilizing small speed lights and modifiers to replicate the effects of commercial studio lighting. These techniques allowed me to deliver polished, professional-quality images that were tailored to the clients' needs.
Result:
The improved product photos significantly enhanced the visual appeal of the clients’ social media content, helping their brands appear more professional and engaging. My innovative approach to small-scale product photography proved effective in achieving high-quality results, even with limited resources.
